Merz RailServices Ltd. actively contributes to safe, climate-friendly and reliable rail mobility. With technical expertise, responsibility and commitment to partnership, we ensure that trains remain reliable in operation.
As an independent service partner, we support maintenance workshops and manufacturers throughout Europe with technical service, consulting and intelligent spare parts logistics. Our goal is to minimise downtime and ensure the long-term availability of vehicle fleets.
Our services focus on rail vehicle, railway and refrigeration technology, as well as mechatronics. We place great importance on motivated action, personal responsibility, respect and reliability.
Founded in October 2025 by Matthias Merz, an industry expert with over 27 years of experience in the European rail sector, we offer manufacturer-independent solutions across the entire life cycle of rail vehicles – efficient, customer-focused and future-oriented.

Matthias Merz has more than 27 years of experience in customer service, after-sales and technical service for rail vehicles. He has worked successfully with rail operators in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, leading European OEMs, and system and component suppliers.
